Kids Bike Clubs

Sprockids meet once a week for 8 weeks, and we concentrate on small classes for beginning and intermediate riders. 

Parents are encouraged to ride along and learn the skills too. The focus is getting out and having fun together on our bikes while we learn to master bike skills and discover new trails.

8:30 AM (Ages 6-12)
10:00 AM (Ages 6-14)

Cost: $195
24 openings in each time spot.

*Parents can Ride-Along for just $20.

Kids of Mud meet twice a week for group rides and training.

This volunteer run club is part of the is the official youth cycling program of the Manitoba Cycling Association (MCA) administered by a group of participating clubs. KOM is a learn-to-ride and learn-to-race program with opportunity to try races on weekends and Wednesday evenings.

Cost: $129 + $60-$87 (MB Cycling Licence)
**Parents must purchase a licence from MB Cycling to join the rides ($60-135)

The Coach

 

Robb Massey, BPE has been coaching children to ride Mountain Bikes for 12 years. He is a Sprockids Certified Coach and is a Certified NCCP — Let’s Ride! Community Cycling Initiation Coach. He also writes about cycle touring and riding with kids on his blog.
